My Favorite Cloth Wipe Solution Recipe

How to Use It At Home: Keep the solution in a spray bottle next to your changing station. Spray directly onto dry wipes or baby’s bottom. On-the-Go: I keep a smaller spray bottle in my diaper bag for easy diaper changes while we’re out. It’s simple, mess-free, and travel-friendly. Alternative Method: Pre-soak your cloth wipes and store them in a reusable container (like a silicone or stainless-steel wipe box). Just make sure to refresh them every couple of days to keep them fresh.

Materials

  • 4 tbsp Lavender Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soap
  • 4 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 8 drops Tea Tree Oil
  • 8 cups Distilled Water

Instructions

  • How to Mix It
  • In a large container (I use my 64oz TAL Stainless Steel Ranger Water Bottle — stainless steel keeps it fresh longer and avoids plastic), add the water first.
  • Add your coconut oil and stir to melt if needed.
  • Mix in the Lavender Castile soap and tea tree oil last.
  • Gently shake or stir. If it seems too foamy or soapy, simply add more distilled water.
