My Favorite Cloth Wipe Solution Recipe
How to Use It
At Home:
Keep the solution in a spray bottle next to your changing station. Spray directly onto dry wipes or baby’s bottom.
On-the-Go:
I keep a smaller spray bottle in my diaper bag for easy diaper changes while we’re out. It’s simple, mess-free, and travel-friendly.
Alternative Method:
Pre-soak your cloth wipes and store them in a reusable container (like a silicone or stainless-steel wipe box). Just make sure to refresh them every couple of days to keep them fresh.
- 4 tbsp Lavender Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soap
- 4 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 8 drops Tea Tree Oil
- 8 cups Distilled Water
How to Mix It
In a large container (I use my 64oz TAL Stainless Steel Ranger Water Bottle — stainless steel keeps it fresh longer and avoids plastic), add the water first.
Add your coconut oil and stir to melt if needed.
Mix in the Lavender Castile soap and tea tree oil last.
Gently shake or stir. If it seems too foamy or soapy, simply add more distilled water.
